Kathy Lauti Fonokalafi passed away, smiling, on Sunday, September 12, 2010, while in the comfort of ther loved ones.  She was 30 years old.  Born in Tongatapu, Tonga Islands on May 19, 1980, she was the daughter of Sione and Kathleen Holder Lauti.  Kathy spent her childhood in Vava'u, Tonga Island.  She is the fourth child  out of thirteen.  At the age of 16, her family moved to Utah, where she attended Highland High School.  She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served her mission in Carlsbad, California.
On October 11, 2003, she married Tevita Fonokalafi at the Bountiful Temple in Utah.  She was a proud mother of three daughters, Mileini age 5, 'Otili age 4, and Leihua age 1.  Kathy was a very hardworker, and she was full of patience, kidness, love, and quick to forgive.  She had a strong belief in God, and that families can be together forever.

A sister in a family of 13 children and daughter of Nina Kathleen Holder Lauti and Sione Finau lauti. Kathy has been battling brain cancer for a few years and seems to be loosing this battle. She deeply loved and will be greatly missed and never forgotten. We are in need of donations so that we can give Kathy the burial that this amazing mother, wife, daughter deserves.  Donations are currently being accepted at Zion's Banks.

She plays a different role in all our
lives, a mother, a wife, and a
sister, no matter what the love
we have for her is one, ask anyone
they'll tell you the same, she brought
us joy when we had pain , the strength
and love of one women held all of us
together even more now then ever, she
isn't physically here but we still
feel her near in every step we take
and every move we make, what she's
giving to us no one can ever replace.
